I am a single parent. I have two wonderful teenage boys that have been through quite a lot the last several years. Their dad was diagnosed with liver disease in 1996 and was given less than two years to live without a transplant. We made the mistake of telling our boys that dad was sick and would die without a transplant. BIG MISTAKE! But, water under the bridge. One of my main problems has been financial. My ex had to stop working in 1997, then had the transplant in 1998, and then was never able to return to full-time work. We broke up and he has never provided any financial support. I suffered an episode of PTSD in 2000 and was out of work for about 1 1/2 years. We moved to another state in 2002 to be closer to my family. I tried working in the mortgage loan field for about two years but decided it really wasn't the field for me. Now I am re-connecting with my spiritual Self and working on healing. I have found a great program to become a Holistic Healthcare Practioner and would love to be able to attend.
